Alright, so as a new blogger I sometimes run out of things to say and post. The month of May is going to be absolutely crazy for me with graduation fast approaching, a full class schedule, and finding a a new job! I've decided to do this "blog every day in May" along with many other bloggers. I want to stay connected through this crazy month, I would hate to get so busy that I let my blog get swallowed up it in all. Maybe I'll skip a few days here and there, but it's worth a shot!
Now, technically I was supposed to begin this yesterday on the 1st. Well I'm a chicken and couldn't decide if I really wanted to do this or not, but this morning I decided it was on. So I'll do day one now and day two later today.
DAY ONE
The story of your life in 250 words or less
Born and raised in a small-ish town in the Pacific Northwest.
I have one brother, Travis, and the best two parents I could ever ask for.
I've always been loud and outgoing.
Softball was the largest part of my life from 6th grade until I was a Junior in High School.
I played select for two different teams through the years, these are by far some of the best memories I have.
The summer before my Junior year began a long medical journey to figure out why I suffer from terrible headaches every single day. It became a bigger deal than I could have ever imagined. For the most part that consumed by life for the rest of high school.
Almost 5 years later and I've started getting answers and I am on the right path to getting healthy.
One of the things that kept me afloat was being Editor in Chief for my schools yearbook, it gave me something to focus on and took my mind off of everything else. It also introduced me to design, which I am infinitely thankful for.
I graduated in 2010, took the summer off, started college in the fall, and took a full time job at Starbucks.
A year later I began the Visual Communications program at my school, and I am totally in love.
I left Starbucks 11 months ago, spent the summer in school, and took a serving job in the fall. In October I took a graphic design job at my school, and worked both jobs through the winter.
I graduate with my ATA on June 14th and from there we will see what happens!
My family 3 years ago at my graduation!
