I've been awful at blogging lately, but I'm a total Instagram fiend. Here are a few go my favorite things from the past few months!

I have fallen in love with this cider and the Seattle Cider Company! I can't drink beer so I am constantly searching for good cider, and I am so happy to have found a local company that brews amazing flavor. Not to mention the packing totally sucked me in, check out their website to be blown away.

EXPLORE THE NORTHWEST

I have lived in the Pacific Northwest all of my 22 years, and I have absolutely loved it. I have recently had an itch for adventure and travel, but it's not always as simple as just getting on a plane to anywhere. I've decided the best solution is to explore my own backyard. Here are a few panoramas I have taken the last few months that make me extremely grateful for where I live.

WHEELS & WICKETS OUTFIT

This year I was very last minute getting my outfit together, I really wasn't sure what I was going to wear until the morning of! This is very unlike me, I usually have things planned out way before but I have been so swamped with a new job. Anyways, I actually had the dress and necklace, I just purchased the sequin headband and broach. I wanted to go for more of an evening look, I struggled to find a good daytime garden party dress so I decided to wing it! I was so impressed by every ones outfits and I love chatting about where they found their pieces. It is such a fun theme and leaves lots of room for people to take their own twist on it!

WHEELS & WICKETS 2013 PART 2

Stephanie truly rocks at catering for a garden party! All of the food was amazing, simple flavors all in bite sized servings. I pitched in by making two types of cupcakes, mimosa and Pimm's cup, those recipes will come later this week! This year the Pimm's cup went quickly, it is always a huge it, and we added another game to the mix with bocce ball. Overall it was a fabulous day of friends, food, games and amazing outfits!

WHEELS & WICKETS 2013 PART 1

This weekend was Wheels & Wickets! You can find my post about the event last year here, it is my most favorite party of the year! As usual, Nic and Stephanie did an amazing job of hosting and the crowd was great. Getting all dressed up is so much fun and it could not have been a better day! I have so many photos I want to share but have narrowed it down to about 20, so I will do a two part post and a third with my outfit details! One day when either Steph or I get the time I'm sure we will make a video also, stay tuned ;)

WHEELS & WICKETS 2012

The past two years Nic and Stephanie (Bavacious) have hosted a little get together known as Wheels & Wickets. It has quickly become a much anticipated event for the summer, with months of planning and excitement. I am not sure how the idea came about, but it's basically a day of everything fancy. Fancy attire, fancy food, fancy games. Croquet is the main attraction, supported by foosball and bean bag toss. We engage in car talk, laugh about each others outfits, and snack on beautiful appetizers made by Steph.

This years event is fast approaching so I have been analyzing previous years to get geared up to find the perfect outfit! Here is a glimpse into last year and I can't wait to share footage from this year!

These are a few looks that are inspiring me this year! Steph and I agreed it would be fun to go for a more cocktail/evening look... let the dress shopping begin!
