CONVERSE & CAMO

Everyone, meet Natasha! Tasha and I instantly bonded over our love of fashion and I often consult her on outfits. She recommend these camo pants to me, and I love the way she styled them so I had to share! I also love that Converse are in this Spring, not that I think they were ever truly "out". I need to pick up a new pair, it's been years, but obviously they are key this Spring!

KISS THE SKY

Alright friends, you all need to head over to kisstheskyco.com and check out my incredibly talented friend Maggie! Her site is gorgeous and I'm obsessed with her style! Maggie and I went to college together and have stayed close since graduating, we love going on adventures together and having creative dates. Be sure to follow her updates because I promise you won't be disappointed ;)

MARKET

Melrose Market in Seattle is the most adorable place to spend an afternoon! You can grab a bite to eat, flip through tons of handcrafted cards and peruse a selection of adorable household items. Most of the things you'll find there are locally made and I think it is incredible to support local businesses!

Maggie and I also cruised through Pike Place after lunch to pick up some fresh blooms (a requirement every time I go to the market!)

WHEELS & WICKETS 2013 PART 2

Stephanie truly rocks at catering for a garden party! All of the food was amazing, simple flavors all in bite sized servings. I pitched in by making two types of cupcakes, mimosa and Pimm's cup, those recipes will come later this week! This year the Pimm's cup went quickly, it is always a huge it, and we added another game to the mix with bocce ball. Overall it was a fabulous day of friends, food, games and amazing outfits!

WHEELS & WICKETS 2013 PART 1

This weekend was Wheels & Wickets! You can find my post about the event last year here, it is my most favorite party of the year! As usual, Nic and Stephanie did an amazing job of hosting and the crowd was great. Getting all dressed up is so much fun and it could not have been a better day! I have so many photos I want to share but have narrowed it down to about 20, so I will do a two part post and a third with my outfit details! One day when either Steph or I get the time I'm sure we will make a video also, stay tuned ;)

WHEELS & WICKETS 2012

The past two years Nic and Stephanie (Bavacious) have hosted a little get together known as Wheels & Wickets. It has quickly become a much anticipated event for the summer, with months of planning and excitement. I am not sure how the idea came about, but it's basically a day of everything fancy. Fancy attire, fancy food, fancy games. Croquet is the main attraction, supported by foosball and bean bag toss. We engage in car talk, laugh about each others outfits, and snack on beautiful appetizers made by Steph.

This years event is fast approaching so I have been analyzing previous years to get geared up to find the perfect outfit! Here is a glimpse into last year and I can't wait to share footage from this year!

These are a few looks that are inspiring me this year! Steph and I agreed it would be fun to go for a more cocktail/evening look... let the dress shopping begin!
