This was my side project in Letterpress this summer, something whimsical and simple. I carved another lino block, I had a few slip ups but overall I am happy at how it turned out!

HEIR IMPRINTS

I wanted to give a quick shout out to Heir Imprints for screen printing these tank tops for me! I found them with a quick Google search, turns out they are based in Snohomish so that was perfect. After speaking with the owner, Riley, we realized we have a good friend in common and that is always good news.

I quickly designed these shirts in Illustrator, met up with Riley to give him the tanks I bought at Forever21, and before I knew it they were ready to be picked up! They did an amazing job on them, the color was vibrant and crisp. All of the bridesmaids really loved them, and thats what mattered most. 

I really want to recognize the support of small businesses, as someone who works from home and mostly with small businesses, I love to do anything I can to support someone else's dream. I understand sometimes it seems more convenient to take your business to a large corporation, but the personalization and attention you receive with someone small is unmatched. If you're in the Snohomish area and need some things printed, they do all sorts of stuff like apparel, business cards, flyers, you name it. You can also get a basic quote on their website!

I know it's a little difficult to see the tanks because of the Bridesmaid sash, so I included some detail photos :)

SOPHIA WEBSTER FOR JCREW

Few things take my breath away, but Sophia Websters line for J.Crew did the trick. Maybe that's too dramatic, but I'm okay with it. I am absolutely in love with this festive collection. Although most of the line has quickly sold out, I can still appreciate the talent Sophia Webster has in designing beautiful shoes with incredible character.

I have recently recognized her work making the rounds with popular bloggers and celebrities, I certainly think she is a talented designer and has had an incredible start in the fashion world since launching her SS13 line.

I have fallen in love with this cider and the Seattle Cider Company! I can't drink beer so I am constantly searching for good cider, and I am so happy to have found a local company that brews amazing flavor. Not to mention the packing totally sucked me in, check out their website to be blown away.

WHEELS & WICKETS 2013 PART 1

This weekend was Wheels & Wickets! You can find my post about the event last year here, it is my most favorite party of the year! As usual, Nic and Stephanie did an amazing job of hosting and the crowd was great. Getting all dressed up is so much fun and it could not have been a better day! I have so many photos I want to share but have narrowed it down to about 20, so I will do a two part post and a third with my outfit details! One day when either Steph or I get the time I'm sure we will make a video also, stay tuned ;)

I went on a small shopping spree the other day, I've been feeling in a rut and new clothes is the only thing to take me out of it! Anyways, I picked up this perfect Joe's jeans!

I have been on the hunt for a good pair of slightly destroyed light wash jeans, and, as usual, Nordstrom Rack delivered. I decided to show three great ways to wear this style of denim, it is super trendy right now and is so versatile!
